Shaurya Agarwal
Student, Creator, and Technology Enthusiast
The idea for Ceptile began with a problem he experienced himself while exploring the internet: AI chatbots could converse but couldn't search the web directly, while search engines lacked conversation. Ceptile was built to bring both together into one seamless experience.
While exploring the internet, Shaurya noticed a gap between two very different experiences. AI chatbots could understand questions and have conversations, but they were not designed to provide the same kind of direct, navigable web search experience offered by major search engines. Traditional search engines, on the other hand, were exceptionally useful for discovering websites and quickly navigating across the internet, but they lacked the conversational experience of modern AI.
Some AI-powered search products attempted to bring these two experiences together by searching the web and generating real-time answers. However, Shaurya felt that an important part of web search could still be improved: the quality of internet discovery, useful links, and fast navigation alongside the answer itself.
That became the foundation of Ceptile.
Building a Different Search Experience
Shaurya envisioned an experience where users never have to choose between conversation and navigation.
Ask naturally
Conversational Understanding
Pose any question in plain human language without worrying about keyword operators, Boolean syntax, or awkward search tricks.
Get real-time answers
Grounded Live Synthesis
Receive direct, up-to-the-minute answers synthesized from real-time web retrieval rather than outdated static training cutoffs.
Explore the web through useful links
Direct Authoritative Navigation
Every answer is paired with high-quality internet links so you can inspect original documentation, discover deep sources, and verify facts.
Navigate quickly
Instant & Distraction-Free
Never get trapped in link dumps or wall-to-wall sponsored clutter. Move between answers and sources with zero friction.
One Year of Development
What started as an idea became a complete product through continuous experimentation, design, testing, and refinement while continuing 11th-grade mathematics studies.

The Idea BeginsThe Problem & Trexinity Prototype
While exploring the internet, 11th-grade student Shaurya Agarwal noticed that AI chatbots could converse but couldn't search the live web like traditional engines, while search engines lacked conversational intelligence. He began coding the earliest prototypes under the working title Trexinity.

Retrieval & GroundingEngineering the Dual Pipeline
Shaurya focused on developing live web retrieval and real-time evidence ranking so the AI would not rely on stale training weights, but instead query the live internet in parallel and pair every claim with verifiable source links.

The Naming EpiphanyFrom Trexinity to Ceptile
As the product vision matured, Trexinity felt too complex. One day while studying, the name 'Ceptile' came spontaneously to mind—short, minimal, simple, distinctive, and aspirational. What began as a flash of curiosity became the brand.

Interface & FluidityRefining Conversation + Navigation
Balancing high school Mathematics studies with late-night coding sessions, Shaurya refined the dual-engine interface: clean search streams, instant quick links, keyboard shortcuts, and verified source citations.

Ceptile EmergesOne Year of Creation Realized
After one full year of continuous experimentation, testing, and refinement, Ceptile emerged as a complete, modern AI search engine serving users worldwide with fast answers and direct web access.
From Trexinity to Ceptile
In its earliest development stage, the project was called Trexinity.
As the product and its vision evolved, Shaurya realized that the project needed a name that felt more aligned with its long-term identity—something short, minimal, simple, memorable, and aspirational.
That led to Ceptile. The name itself came unexpectedly. While studying, the word Ceptile suddenly came into Shaurya's mind. What began as a spontaneous thought eventually became the name of the product he had spent a year developing.
Two crisp syllables, seven letters. Effortless to type and remember.
Stripped of unnecessary complexity and corporate jargon.
Instinctive pronunciation across languages and cultures.
Unmistakable identity that stands out from generic 'AI' labels.
Designed to evolve with an expanding ecosystem of knowledge tools.
“Make searching feel more natural, while keeping the web within reach.”
More Than a Product
For Shaurya, Ceptile represents a continuing exploration of how people discover, understand, and navigate information on the internet. It began with a simple observation: search and conversation each offered something valuable, but they did not always feel like one complete experience. Ceptile grew from the attempt to bridge that gap.
